Ceramic Coatings
What is a Ceramic Coating?
A Ceramic Coating is used to protect the painted surfaces of your vehicle. It is applied to the painted surfaces, where it bonds to the clearcoat to add paint depth, shine, water repellency, and protection from agents that can damage your vehicle’s paint for 2-5 years.
Benefits of Ceramic Coatings:
-
- Easy maintenance, no waxing needed
- Glossy finish and extreme hydrophobics
- Protection against acid rain, fallout, bird droppings, road tar, and UV rays
- Scratch resistance
- Higher resale value, your vehicle will look new longer
What is our process?
-
- Vehicle Prep– In this step, your vehicle will receive a hand wash, a deep wheel & tire cleaning, clean windows, clean door jambs, and tire dressing.
- Paint Decontamination- In this step, our detailers use iron remover to break down and release brake dust and metallic contamination embedded in your vehicle’s clear coat. Then, the painted surfaces are treated with a clay bar to remove contaminants that are stuck to your paint’s clear coat leaving behind a clean smooth finish.
- Paint Correction– In this step, the clear coat is polished to remove swirls, scratches, and oxidation leaving behind a clear and smooth finish on your vehicle’s paint. This step ensures that the coating can properly bond with the paint ensuring the longevity of the coating.
- Coating Application– In this step, one of our experienced installers meticulously applies the coating to your paintwork to protect and preserve your paint for 2-5 years.
