FAQS About Auto Wraps

Click on the headings below for more information.

What is a vehicle wrap?

A vehicle wrap can come in multiple shapes, sizes, styles, finishes and colors. They are sheets of adhesive on one side and vinyl on the other that are specifically designed for vehicle application, and they can also come in printed designs, so that they can really represent a person or a business. Wraps can even be used as extra additions to a car by placing them on a roof or trunk. Anything is possible, and with new technology, wraps can even be made with holographic or 3D films!

What is the cost to wrap a vehicle?

Every wrap and every vehicle is different, so prices will differ accordingly. A complete wrap, for those who want a full color change, is obviously going to cost the most, while partial wraps will be much cheaper. Prices depend on vehicle, film used, difficulty of application and other factors. For a more accurate estimation, contact us.

Can the wrap damage paint?

No, but removing or installing a wrap by yourself can. A bad installation can cause poor adhesion and scratches. If you use the wrong type of film, it could strip your paint and cause even more damage when you remove it.

What is the lifespan of a vehicle wrap?

It all depends. If the film is cared for, it could last for more than five years without needing to be re-installed, but if the wrap gets a lot of wear and tear from driving and the quality of the film was not great to begin with, then it could need to be re-installed sooner.

Is it removable?

Of course! It’s a bit of a process, but we can remove your wrap for you as well as install it. Contact us with more information, and we’d be happy to help.

How are vehicle wraps cared for?

Proper care of your vehicle wrap is pretty easy. Making sure your car’s surface is clean is most important, so hand washing is vital, so the wrap is not damaged or stained. Waxing services are offered for those who have a gloss free exterior and a matte or satin film.

What happens in the event of damage?

Depending on the damage, the wrap could need to be removed entirely, but most of the time, we will be able to replace the damage with a new piece of film. We may also need to reprint graphics or just fill in an area, depending on where the damage was located in the design.

Do you offer custom graphics?

Yes! We can print any design you might have in mind, or we can help you create a design from a concept. We will gladly help with any wrap you might be imagining.
